OUR SHARED VALUES: FREEDOM TO BE

Heidi believes that every Hoosier child deserves a top-notch education that provides critical thinking skills and gives them the freedom to pursue their dreams and become prosperous. She was one of the architects of the PHM learning academies, which makes our schools some of the best schools in Indiana. Unfortunately, extreme Republicans like Dale DeVon are betraying our teachers and threatening them with felonies for teaching our kids to be curious and engaged students. We need to ensure that our kids have the freedom to learn honest history and read classic literature. We need to make sure we parents have the freedom to decide what our kids are allowed to read, instead of allowing Dale DeVon to dictate what and how our kids want to learn.
